The COVID Safety Measures We’re Using To Keep You Safe
What To Expect
Health screenings: Before your appointment, you will be given a health screening questionnaire to complete. Please complete this thoroughly and accurately. This helps us ensure that no one enters our office with possible COVID-19 symptoms, and is the first step to keeping both you and your neighbors safe.
Taking your temperature: When you enter our office one of our team members will take your temperature to confirm you’re healthy!
Minimizing overlapping appointments: When scheduling appointments during this time, please rest assured that we have taken steps to minimize the number of people in our office at any one time, avoiding overlapping appointments whenever possible.
Disinfecting all tools, seating, exam rooms, etc: Cleanliness has always been important to us, but it is especially so now. Seating, tools, and other surfaces and items are disinfected between patients.
Use of PPE: For your health and safety as well as that of our team members, the staff in our office will be wearing all proper protective equipment during your appointment, including a mask.
Regular staff training: Our current situation is changing fast. We are remaining as adaptable as possible, and distribute new updates and information to your team regularly.
What You Can Do
While we are taking every precaution, there are several key things you can do to keep yourself safe as well!
Please don’t come in if you don’t feel well: If you have a cough, fever, or any other symptoms, or one of your loved ones does, kindly reach out to reschedule your appointment and stay home.
Prioritize emergency visits: While we are still providing routine and preventative care, prioritizing emergency visits over elective visits can help you limit your own exposure.
Limit accompanying visitors: If you have a dentist’s appointment, please come on your own if possible. Decreasing the number of people in the room with you or in the waiting room can help limit exposure.
Wear a mask: Please wear your mask to and from your appointment, except for when you’re in the dentist’s chair!
Social distance in the waiting room: We will do our best to limit the amount of time you’re in the waiting room, but while you are in a public space in our office, you can help by respecting a 6 foot distance.
Caring for the health of your teeth is an important part of taking care of your overall health! With the right COVID safety measures in place, you can make sure you receive the dental care you need without putting yourself at risk. Schedule your next appointment online now.
